This repo is a mirror of the upstream MCP server that exposes TypeSafe Jev:

It was mirrored at upstream commit 27603c1 (v0.4.0) so the code behind the jev MCP server is owned here rather than pulled fresh from the npm registry on every npx -y jev-mcp.

Syncing with upstream

git fetch upstream git merge upstream/main # or: git rebase upstream/main git push origin main

upstream is GitHub, origin is this forge.

Running this copy instead of the npm package

npm install && npm run build claude mcp remove --scope user jev claude mcp add --scope user jev -- node /Users/ben/projects/jev-mcp/dist/index.js

The API key still comes from ~/.config/typesafe/key (or TYPESAFE_API_KEY), never from a tool argument.
